The Kansas Water Office (KWO) is excited to announce the Governor’s Water Conference will be held Wednesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center in Manhattan, KS.
The Governor’s Conference on the Future of Water in Kansas will highlight the latest policy and research developments of water issues in Kansas as well as share the outcomes of the past year to address Governor Brownback’s 2013 Call to Action to develop a long-term vision for our state’s future water supply. Many great speakers and topics are planned; a few are highlighted below.

Topics and themes will complement the Vision such as: working with your available resources, developing additional sources of supply, and conservation and management practices for all water uses in Kansas. Day two will build on the water policy discussions from the previous day with technical presentation posters and talks.
Legislators, water managers, scientists, state, federal, city and county administrators as well as organizations, irrigators and citizens who share an interest in Kansas water resources are encouraged to attend.
