(KMZA)--A Waterville woman remains jailed in Marshall County, following her arrest last month on 15 counts of forgery and one count of theft valued at over $68,000.
According to the Topeka-Capital Journal, Joleen Ayon is the founder of the Waterville Teen Hope Center, a drug prevention and safe choices program.
She is accused of taking over $68,000 from the Linda J. Conderman Trust between November 20th and June 6th by altering and endorsing personal checks of Conderman without permission.
Several of the checks were allegedly made payable to the Teen Hope Center.
Ayon remains jailed on the felony charges, held on bond of $1,500.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 18th.
