(KNZA)--A Leavenworth man has been indicted on federal charges related to both firearms and drugs.
U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said Wednesday that 27-year-old Dacco Shane Muth is charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a firearm following a felony conviction, unlawful possession of a sawed off shutgun and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The crimes are alleged to have occurred March 15th in Bonner Springs.
If convicted, Muth faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each of the firearms charges and a maximum penalty of 20 years and a fine up to $1 million on the drug charge.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Bonner Springs Police Department investigated.
