(KMZA)--A young Seneca man will stand trial on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
19-year-old David Kaup Jr. waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday, and was bound over to Nemaha County District Court for arraignment on July 17th.
Kaup was arrested in April following an investigation by the Seneca Police Department.
Police Chief Brent Schulte says the crime, involving a 14-year-old girl, is alleged to have happened in Seneca on April 4th. Schulte says the girl and Kaup were acquaintances at the time of the alleged crime.
Kaup remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $50,000 bond.
