The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Dwight Krull was southbound on a private drive off Route DD, about four miles east of Faucett, when his ATV struck a parked trailer, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Krull was ejected from the ATV as the vehicle came to rest on its top.
He was transported by Lifenet to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
The Patrol says Krull wasn’t wearing a safety helmet at the time of the accident, which was reported shortly after 7.
