(KMZA)--U.S. 77 has been closed just north of Marysville for a Union Pacific railroad crossing replacement project.
The highway was closed beginning at 7 Friday morning, and the Kansas Department of Transportation says the highway is to re-open to all traffic at 5 Monday evening, weather allowing.
A marked detour will be provided. U.S. 77 traffic will detour via westbound U.S. 36 to northbound K-148 to eastbound Nebraska State Route 8 back to U.S. 77. Southbound U.S. 77 traffic will detour the opposite direction via westbound Nebraska State Route 8 to southbound K-148 to westbound U.S. 36 back to U.S. 77.
