Update: Missing KCK Man Found Safe In Doniphan County, Silver Alert Cancelled
(MSC News)--The Kansas City, Kansas man who disappeared, leading to the issuance of a Silver Alert has been found safe.
Overland Park Police say 80-year-old John Burris has been reunited with his family after being located in Doniphan County.
Authorities believed Burris was headed to the local area when he failed to return home after calling his family and saying he had been shopping for shoes in Overland Park.
Family members said Burris sounded confused and had gotten lost while trying to drive home.
