(MSC News)--Libertarian Keen Umbehr has formally launched his general election bid for Kansas Governor.
On Tuesday, he signed the paperwork and paid his candidate filing fee at the Kansas Secretary of State’s office.
Umbehr, an Alma attorney, is campaigning primarily on tax reform, free market driven health care reform and government accountability and transparency:
Umbehr is joined in his attempt to unseat Republican incumbent Governor Sam Brownback by two other candidates.
Businesswoman, and Wichita native, Jennifer Winn, is challenging Brownback in the August 5th Republican primary, while Kansas House Minority Leader Paul Davis is the only Democrat seeking the seat.
