(KLZA) -- 35-year old Nicole L. Harkendorf of Falls City was arrested May 14th by the Falls City Police Department on a felony charge of theft by unlawful taking and resisting arrest.
The Falls City Police Department received a complaint from the parents of Nicole Harkendorf alleging she had taken jewelry from their residence in April. One of the items missing was a ring valued in excess of $6,000.
When called to 2305 Towle Street for a disturbance call on May 14th, Falls City Police Officer Jeremy Goldsberry found Nicole Harkendorf in the home and arrested her on the felony charge of theft by unlawful taking. Harkendorf allegedly was uncooperative when placed under arrest.
Harkendorf appeared in Richardson County Court for a bond hearing on May 16th. Bond was set at 10 percent of $6,500. Harkendorf has bonded out of jail and is scheduled for arraignment on June 9th.
