(KAIR)--An Atchison man, who took part in several burglaries earlier in the year, will spend over three and a half years in prison.
28-year-old Anthony Pennington appeared in Atchison County District Court Monday afternoon for sentencing in four separate cases.
Pennington received six months for theft and eighteen months for burglary of a non dwelling in connection with a theft of a pickup on January 1st of this year. He also received a sixteen month sentence on a burglary charge for breaking into the old Bromley Quarry two weeks later on January 15th. Pennington also had his probation revoked on a previous possession of methamphetamine charge, and will serve an additional sentence of eleven months for that incident.
Each of the sentences will run consecutively for a total of forty-five months in prison.
