(KLZA) -- A 29-year-old Falls City man will spend time 1 1/2 years in jail on four misdemeanor charges
Shawn Luginbill appeared in Richardson County District Court recently for sentencing. Originally Luginbill was arrested on felony charges in connection with the September, 2013 theft of a pickup owned by Tamala Roberts in Falls City.
Luginbill was sentenced one year in jail on charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was allowed credit for 178 days already served in jail. Luginbill’s license to drive was suspended for six months.
On a charge of driving under suspension, Luginbill was sentenced to three months in jail with the time to be served consecutively to the sentences on the previous counts.
On a charge of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, Luginbill was sentenced to a period of three months in jail with thes sentence to be served consecutively to the other sentences.
