(KTNC) -- There’s a chance this month to get rid of old electronic devices and help the Humboldt Athletic Booster Club. The Booster Club will host an electronics recycling event on Saturday, March 22.
They’ll accept devices including computers, monitors, and cell phones. They will not take C-R-T monitors or televisions. There is no charge to drop off items, but the Booster Club will accept donations with all the proceeds going to the organization.
If you have sensitive data on your devices, a mobile shredding trailer will be on site to shred those devices for $10 per item, with half that charge donated to the Booster Club.
The Electronic Recycling event is planned from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on March 22, at the High School parking lot in Humboldt. Items can be dropped off in advance, from 10:00 a.m. till noon, at the HTRS Middle School in Table Rock, the Stella Christian Church, and the Dawson Fire Department.
