Applications for the 2014 Sworn Officers Selection Process for the position of Nebraska State Patrol Trooper are currently being accepted through April 4, 2014, for consideration for the 56th Basic Recruit Camp scheduled to begin on October 20, 2014.

The beginning salary for a recruit is $31,892 annually. Upon graduation, the salary will increase to $44,574 annually. Other excellent career benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, medial insurance, life insurance and full retirement benefits.
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and 21 years of age by May 1, 2015, when they take the Oath of Office. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.
