(KLZA) --The Falls City Police Department has investigated a report of a possible attempt to abduct a Falls City Elementary School student this week. Following lengthy interviews it was determined the report was unfounded.
Falls City School Superintendent Tim Heckinlively said the school district immediately got a message out to all faculty and administration, and drafted a notice to all students in kindergarten through high school to be vigilant, that there had possibly been a situation in the community. It went on to remind students that when walking to and from school, to remember the basic safety rules including not to talk to strangers, never get into a vehicle with a stranger, and to notify your parents or school officials if you see something suspicious.
Again the Falls City Police Department has determined the report of an attempted abduction of a Falls City Elementary School student was unfounded.
