(KNZA )--An additional candidate has been interviewed to be next superintendent of the Holton school district.
The Holton Recorder reports the Holton USD 336 Board of Education Monday interviewed Daniel Slack for the position. Slack has 25 years of experience in public education, serving recently as district superintendent in Ellsinore, Missouri for four years.
Board members previously interviewed two other candidates for the position. They include Randall Jansonius, current superintendent and principal of schools in Ness City USD 303 and Mike Nulton, who most served recently as superintendent for North Lyon County USD 251.
Another finalist, Michael Stegman, withdrew his application for the position.
Current Holton school district superintendent Nancy Meyer is retiring at the end of the current school year after serving in the position the past four years
