(KNZA)--A strong turn out is expected in Horton Tuesday when the fate of the municipal swimming pool takes center stage.
The issue stems from the pool being deemed unsafe to open by the city's insurance provider.
The estimated price tag to make the numerous necessary repairs to bring the pool into compliance is $100,000, a cost the city says it can't afford.
Public awareness, and possible options for the pool's future, will be the focus of Tuesday evening's Horton City Hall meeting scheduled to begin at 6:00.
