(KNZA)--An early Friday evening Jackson County house fire leaves the residence a total loss.
Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened in Delia, where responders rushed to 4462 106th Road to battle the blaze shortly before 5:20.
The structure was fully engulfed in flames and appears to be a total loss.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no injuries are reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
Morse says numerous agencies worked together to battle the blaze, including the Delia, Hoyt, Potawatomi Tribal and Mayetta Fire Departments, as well as Jackson County EMS, the Kansas Highway Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
