Falls City Volunteer Fire Department Reports Minimal Damage in 2013

 (KLZA) -- The Falls City Volunteer Fire Department annual report shows a significant decline in damage caused by fire in 2013. 

Falls City Volunteer Firemen responded to 15 structural fires, three vehicle fires, two fires involving trees, brush and grass and one trash fire.  There were also four false alarms.

The total loss of property due to fire was $15,500, which was down from the 2012 total of more than $145,000 in damage caused by fires.
