Blue Rapids Man Injured in Vehicle-Deer Crash

(KMZA)--A Blue Rapids man was injured early Sunday morning in a deer related crash on K-9 Highway in Nemaha County.

The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says 60-year-old Arnold Adkins was traveling west when he swerved to miss a deer, causing his 2005 Chrysler minivan to leave the roadway and roll.     

Adkins was transported to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The accident was reported around 3:15 Sunday morning just west of K Road.
