(KLZA) -- The newly hard surfaced road from Highway 159 south through Preston is now open to the public.
Richardson County Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert said the striping was completed Wednesday evening. Huppert noted that while the Preston Road is now open, there will still be barricades up in places with more work to be completed. ( PLAY AUDIO :10 SECONDS )
The work remaining to be done will likely not be completed until spring. Huppert said motorists need to be aware this will remain a county road and the speed limit is 50 mile per hour.
