(KAIR)--A bridge replacement project is included among statewide construction and maintenance projects in the planning stages by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The project will take place on U.S. Highway 24 in Jefferson County, nearly four miles east of the U.S. 24/U.S. 59 junction.
Chosen as the contractor for the work is Hamm Inc. of Perry, expected to complete the project for $863,639.
Announcement of the planned project follows the opening of bids by KDOT in Topeka, with the bid letting having taken place on November 13th.
