(KAIR)--An Atchison man will be in court Monday for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.
Atchison County Attorney Jerry Kuckelman says that 30-year old Justin Reno was convicted in September of last year for aggravated assault when he allegedly pulled a gun on someone. He was given a 25-month suspended prison sentence, and placed on probation.
Reno was also convicted of possession of a narcotic. At the time of his arrest, it was discovered that he had the painkiller hydrocodine in his possession. Kuckelman says that drugs did play a part in the probation violation, in that Reno did not complete the drug program that was a mandatory condition of his probation.
Reno was arrested on November 13th, and remains in the Atchison county jail. No bond information is available at this time.
