Kansas Highway Patrol
(KNZA)--A Frankfort man was injured early Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on K-9 Highway in Washington County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 56-year-old Brian Smith was westbound when, for an unknown reason, he drove his truck off the north side of the highway, striking a culvert.
Smith was transported to the Clay County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Patrol says Smith was not wearing a seatbelt.
The wreck was reported shortly after 12:30 Monday afternoon about 7 miles east of Clifton.
