(KMZA)--The jury trial for a Wetmore man facing multiple charges has been postponed again.
32-year-old Cassidy Grimm is now scheduled to go on trial beginning January 13th in Nemaha County District Court on five felony counts—including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat and burglary. He’s also charged with misdemeanor theft.
The trial for Grimm had been scheduled for this week.
Grimm was arrested in October of last year by the Sabetha Police Department. He’s accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife, holding her against will, battering her, and threatening her and the children in the home.
Grimm eventually left the residence, giving the victim time to notify law enforcement.
