City Hall - Pawnee City
(KTNC) - Budget hearings highlight the agenda for the Pawnee City Council tonight. The City Council meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
The Budget Hearing is scheduled to begin at 7:15, and a hearing to set the final property tax request is scheduled for 7:25 p.m.
Following the hearings, the council will vote on resolutions to approve the budget and tax request.
The proposed property tax request is $104,585, and the proposed 2013 tax rate is 49.76-cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
In other business, Library Board representative Linda Bowman will give the council a recommendation on a new board member.
The council will also get updates on the status of two downtown buildings.
