(KLZA) -- The first day of the new school year is Tuesday for Johnson County Central Students. Classes begin at 8:12 a-m and the fist day will be a full day of school.
The Johnson County Central Schools offer both breakfast and lunches for students. Free and reduced price meals are available for qualifying families.
More than 50 kindergarten students are expected this year and they will be split into three sections instead of two.
Parents are reminded that school pictures for JCC students will be taken on Friday, August 23rd.
