(KLZA) The Humboldt-Table Rock – SteinauerSchool Board heard several presentations concerning various improvements that could be made in the district buildings. Superintendent Clint Kimbrough talked about some of the topics covered. ( play audio :59 seconds )
Superintendent Kimbrough said there was also an update on a proposed fitness center addition to the school building in Humboldt. ( play audio :30 seconds )
At this point there has been no final approval given to the addition but an effort to put information together continues.
HTRS Board members also approved the resignation of Teachers Aide Teri Otto and hiring to para-professionals for the upcoming school year. Robin Thacker and Dawn Sherman have been approved for those positions.
Board members also approved giving the administration the authority to hire a collection agency to recover money for past due lunch bills when they feel it is appropriate.
Superintendent Kimbrough noted efforts to further investigate having an FFA program for HTRS students is also continuing. ( play audio :10 seconds )
