( KNZA )--There will be new principal on the job when school begins this fall at the Royal Valley Middle School in Hoyt.
The Royal Valley USD 337 Board of Education has hired John Linn of Victoria, Ks for the position.
The Holton Recorder reports Linn comes to Royal Valley after serving as the principal at Victoria Junior/Senior High School the past five years in Ellis County. Along with being the principal, Linn also served as the athletic director, transportation director and ITV coordinator.
He has served in the education field for twenty-five years—twenty of those as a business teacher and coach.
Linn is replacing former principal Aaric Davis, who took a similar position at Hartford and Neosho Rapids schools.
Linn’s wife, Sonya, will serve as a third-grade teacher for the district as well.
