( KNZA )--Traffic on U.S. 75 Highway from Sabetha to the Kansas-Nebraska state line was reduced to one lane, beginning today ( Tuesday ), for pavement grinding work.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via a pilot car and flagger operation. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes maximum and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
The grinding work is scheduled to be completed in late July, weather permitting.
All paving work has been completed on the U.S. 75 project and crews are also currently constructing a new reinforced concrete box at 290th Road on U.S. 75.
All the work is part of the overall U.S. 75 reconstruction project.
