Rulo Church Anniversary Celebration Sunday

 (KLZA) The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church members are celebrating a pair of anniversaries this weekend.  150 years of the church in Rulo and 100 years of the current church building.

Father David Oldham said the celebration will be held Sunday afternoon.  ( play audio :22 seconds ) 

The current church building is one of the more unique in Southeast Nebraska.  ( play audio :31 seconds ) 

If you forgot to call and make a reservation for the catered dinner,  Father Oldham says they will still try and get you in. ( play audio :16 seconds ) 

There will be a book available this weekend that will be of interest to both those that cook and history buffs.  ( play audio :41 seconds ) 

The celebration dinner will be served outside under a tent following the church service.  If you cannot attend the dinner you are still invited to attend the service beginning in the church at 3 p-m.
