(MSC News)--The campus of Highland Community College was the destination Friday for regional county leaders who came together to network, and to share ideas of leadership.
Seventeen counties were represented during the Northeast Kansas County Officials conference, hosted by Doniphan County.
Among those in attendance to meet with fellow leaders was Atchison County Commission Chairman Jeff Schuele(Play Audio)
Schuele says much of the talk, during the conference, focused on the affects decisions of the Kansas Legislature will have on local counties(Play Audio)
The session, which began in the morning and concluded in the early afternoon, featured guest speakers, including Randall Allen, the Executive Director for the Kansas Association of Counties and Saint Joseph, Missouri based motivational speaker, and pastor, Doctor Jimmy Albright.
