(KNZA)--An arrest is made in Allen County, Kansas, in connection with the criminal use of credit cards that were inside a van stolen in Jackson County last month.
Sheriff Tim Morse says the Dodge Caravan was reported stolen May 14th, from a rural Holton residence, and it wasn't long after that several attempts to use the cards were made.
Investigators were able to track the suspect, identified as Holton resident Alicia Pringle-Cole, to Allen County, where Jackson County Deputies located, and arrested her on May 19th.
She was taken into custody for burglary to a vehicle, felony theft, criminal use of a financial card and possession of stolen property.
The van has since been recovered in Topeka.
Morse says, despite the arrest of Pringle-Cole, many questions regarding the case remain unanswered, and public assistance is being requested.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to notify the Jackson County Sheriff's office in order to help put the wraps on the case.
