Stephen Deming
(KNZA)--A fugitive sought by the Brown County Sheriff's Department is now in custody.
Sheriff John Merchant says Steven Deming turned himself in late Friday at the Sheriff's office in Hiawatha.
That followed a call to help from the public Thursday in locating the 24-year-old wanted on a Horton failure to appear warrant.
Deming is also a person of interest in recent Brown County criminal activity.
Merchant says the public should be commended for the information they provided prior to Deming turning himself in.
