(KTNC) - A Boil Water advisory is in effect for customers of Rock Port Rural Water District One. The advisory was issued after a water line was washed out during storms Tuesday night.
The advisory affects mainly rural water customers, and also a handful of people on the outskirts of Rock Port.
The water line was repaired overnight, and a water sample was taken to a lab in St. Joseph. Officials say the boil advisory will remain in effect until the lab test results are returned, or at least 24-hours.
