( KNZA )--A highway interdiction in Brown County over the Memorial Day holiday weekend leads to the issuance of 35 citations.
The Brown County Sheriffs office with the assistance of the Sac and Fox Police Department conducted the highway interdiction on U.S. 75 Saturday.
During the short interdiction period, Sheriff John Merchant says 24 citations were written for seat belt violations, four for no-proof of insurance, three for no turn signal, two for driving while suspended/revoked, one for an open container and one for an illegal u-turn.
