Nebraska State Track Meet Friday Class C Results

The Nebraska State Track Meet started with Class C and Class A events Friday morning.
In the 3200 meter relay, the Southern boys team of Zach Creevan, Jacob Harding, Kenneth Ames, and Jacob Creevan finished second with a time of 8:15.09.  Freeman was fourth
in the girls' Class C 3200 meter relay.
In the boys' Class C 110-meter hurdle prelims, Cole Schuster of Freeman won his heat in 14.97 seconds and qualified for the finals, with the fastest time.
In the Class C girls' 100-meter dash, Hannah Borrenpohl of JCC finished 8th in her heat, with a time of 13.48 seconds and did not qualify for the finals.
In the Class C boys' high jump, Spenser Sullivan of JCC cleared 5-10, good for a tie for 12th place.  Ben Railsback of HTRS tied for 16th with a leap of 5-08.
In the Class C girls' long jump, Jeryn Creek of Southern was the champion with a leap of 17-07.5.  Shelby Creek was 5th in the event.
In the Class C girls' pole vault, HTRS senior Elizabeth Railsback just missed placing with an 11th place finish, after clearing nine feet.  HTRS freshman Whitney Ramsey did not

record a height in the event.
Class C boys' shot put, HTRS senior Scott Hammon placed 14th with a throw of 47-09.
Corey Haynes of Freeman qualified for the finals of the Class C boys' 300-meter hurdles, finishing second in his heat.
In the Class C girls' 200-meter dash prelims, Hanna Borrenpohl of JCC finished 6th in her heat with a time of 28.21 seconds, and did not qualify for the finals.
