(KNZA)-- The Search for missing 18-month-old Lana-Leigh Bailey has captured the attention of the local region, as authorities this week pled for help in finding the toddler.
Although her mother was from Olathe, local residents shared the child's picture on Facebook, as the hope for a safe return was discussed on the social media website.
Now, that hope all but ends, as authorities this morning reveal that Lana-Leigh Bailey is “presumed dead”, and the search for her body has begun.
That comes following the discovery of three bodies, including the child's mother, earlier this week, at a farmhouse in rural Ottawa.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested for their murders.
