Plans Set for Highland College Commencement
( KNZA )--Plans have been finalized for the 2013 commencement exercises at the Highland Community College campus.
The commencement will be held outdoors on Friday, May 10, at 7 o’clock that evening on Kessinger Field on the HCC campus. ( In the event of rain, the commencement will be held in Allen Field House )
More than 150 graduates are scheduled to hear Lisa Ward, HCC alumnus, a practicing attorney in Manhattan, and member of the HCC Foundation Board of Directors who will be the guest speaker.
The HCC Commencement will be broadcast live by accessing the College’s Web site at www.highlandcc.edu. There will be a rotating banner on the College Homepage that will provide viewers with instructions.
Commencement exercises at the HCC Technical Center in Atchison will be held on May 15 at 7:30 in the evening in the Atchison High School gymnasium. The pinning ceremony for nursing graduates will take place at 5:30, also in the high school gymnasium.
