(KTNC) - The University of Nebraska Extension Office in Gage County will offer a Pork Quality Assurance Plus training session this Friday afternoon. The session begins at 2:00 p.m., at the Extension Office at the Gage County Fairgrounds in Beatrice.
UNL Swine Specialist, Dr. Duane Reese, will be the instructor along with former extension educator Larry Germer.
Following the PQA-Plus training, at 3:30 p.m., Dr. Reese will conduct a Truckers Quality Assurance session.
Pork producers in southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas who need to certify or recertify in either program is welcome to attend.
