(KNZA)--Although little is being said publicly regarding the details of what led to the arrest of a Sabetha man on drug charges, Brown County Sheriff John Merchant commends the work of those officers that oversaw the case.
Taken into custody on Saturday was 43-year-old Doug Werner.
He now faces charges for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Werner was booked into the Brown County Jail on the charges, but has apparently bonded out.
Merchant says he can't currently offer further comment on the specifics of the arrest, based on the nature of the investigation.
