(KNZA)--The planned jury trial, set to begin Tuesday for the Fairview woman accused of attempting to kill her 7-year-old son last year has been cancelled.
Tammy Thomas was scheduled to go on trial in Brown County District Court, but word received late Friday from the Clerk of the District Court states that the jury trial set to begin Tuesday has been cancelled and prospective jurors summoned to appear on that date will not be required to do so.
Details as to why the trial has been cancelled have not been available over the weekend.
Thomas is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated endangerment of a child. She pleaded not guilty to the charges in September.
