(KLZA) Fire caused minimal damage to a Falls City Home early Friday morning.
Firefighters responded to the Nick Schramm residence at 801 Chase Street just before 4 o'clock.
Fire Chief Ken Simpson said the knob and tube wiring caught on fire where it entered the home in the attic and caught the wall of the house on fire at that point. The power to the home was shut off and the fire was put out.
Firemen were on the scene until about 5:20 a-m.
Eleven Falls City Volunteer Firemen and two members of the Falls City Rural Fire Department responded to the fire call.
