( KNZA )--One person was seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday night on U.S. 75 Highway north of Holton.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Corey Place of Barrington, Rhode Island was traveling north, and 59-year-old Debra Homer of Pomona, Ks was traveling south, when their vehicles crossed the center line due to the weather conditions and collided head-on.
Homer was transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka with disabling injuries.
Place received possible injuries, but according to the Patrol report wasn’t transported to a hospital.
The accident was reported shortly before 9 o’clock.
