(KNZA )--A Sabetha man was injured late Friday night in a tubing accident at the Old Sabetha Lake, just south of 192nd Road in Nemaha County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Gary McGuire was on a tube being pulled by a pickup when he struck a culvert.
McGuire was transported to the Sabetha Community Hospital with what the patrol described as disabling injuries.
The pickup driver, 66-year-old Harlan Stokes of Sabetha, was not hurt.
The accident was reported shortly after 10 o'clock Friday night.
