(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council will meet at 7 p-m Monday evening. A public hearing on the 1 & 6 Year Street Plan will be held followed by Council action.
Liquor license renewals will be discussed and a public hearing will be held for a Class C liquor license application for Eric Froeschl doing business as The Would Eye at 1821 Stone Street.
Council members will discuss a bid from Haug Communications in the amount of $29,922 to construct a tower for 9-1-1 service at 2307 Barada Street. A bid from Kenneth Arnold in the amount of $42,904 for electrical services and a generator for the new City Hall building at 2307 Barada Street will also be reviewed.
A recommendation from the Management Negotiating Committee to increase wages and benefits for part-time employees will also be discussed.
A request from the Library and Community Foundation of Richardson County to modify a memorandum of understanding to provide reports to the Council on an annual basis instead of a semi-annual basis will be discussed. Council members will also take action on the appointment of Wendy Blevins to the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department.
