(KNZA)--Two historic Marshall County destinations are selected to receive funds in the way of Heritage Trust Fund Grants.
The decision to award the grants to the Koester House Museum, in Marysville, and to the Waterville Opera House, was made this month by a committee of the Kansas Historic Sites Board of Review.
Awarded to the Koester House was just over 87-thousand-dollars(Play Audio)

Along with the Koester House Museum, the Kansas Historic Sites Board Committee also selected the Waterville Opera House as a grant recipient.
That historic structure, utiliized for such events as plays, musical performances and weddings, receives nearly 90-thousand-dollars in grant funds for needed renovations.
