( KMZA )-The 30th annual Baileyville Benefit Tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday at the B & B High School gym.
Event Chairman Kenny Schmitz says proceeds this year will go to benefit 2 ½-year-old Jordan Sudbeck of Bern and 12-year-old Dylan Brunkow of Onaga with medical related expenses.
In the past, the tournament consisted of only basketball games, but volleyball has been added this year. Schmitz says they have 20 girl’s teams playing volleyball and 16 men’s teams playing basketball.
Games will be played from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
An auction of 180 donated items will be held around 6 o’clock Sunday evening after the championship basketball game.
Organizers say the annual benefit wouldn’t be a success without the support they receive from businesses and individuals.
