( KNZA )--A semi driver from Fort Morgan, Colorado was injured Wednesday afternoon in a roll-over accident on K-20 Highway about 7 miles west of Horton.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 47-year-old William Leavitt was traveling west when his 2004 Freightliner left the highway and rolled onto its side, spilling its load onto the north shoulder. Leavitt was transported to the Horton Community Hospital. The Patrol says he was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident was reported shortly before 4:30.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department and Brown County Rescue Squad assisted.
