(KNZA)--Details are released regarding the death of a Holton man killed Monday afternoon while at work in Coffey County, Kansas.
The Coffey County Sheriff's Department confirms that 51-year-old Eric Spaar died when a 50-ton crane he was operating tipped over and pinned him underneath.
Spaar was working for Midwest Construction, based in Holton, with the firm conducting a bridge replacement project.
The incident happened just 3 miles outside of the Coffey County Community of New Strawn.
The fatal accident is under investigation by the Coffey County Sheriff's Department and OSHA.
