John Crittendon (center) has retired as USD 409 Auxillary Services Director.
(KAIR) -- Dozens came by the USD 409 District Office Wednesday afternoon to wish longtime Auxiliary Services Director John Crittendon well during his last day on the job.
He’s retiring after a little over 15 years on the job.
Crittendon says transportation industry hasn’t changed a whole lot over his tenure at Atchison Public Schools.

Crittendon says he now plans to spend more time with his children and grandchildren.
The USD 409 school board is currently discussing options on outsourcing bus services.
